چکیده

Inspired by the concept of deviation measure between two linguistic preference relations, this paper further defines the deviation measure of a linguistic preference relation to the set of consistent linguistic preference relations. Based on this, we present a consistency index of linguistic preference relations and develop a consistency measure method for linguistic preference relations. This method is performed to ensure that the decision maker is being neither random nor illogical in his or her pairwise comparisons using the linguistic label set. Using this consistency measure, we discuss how to deal with inconsistency in linguistic preference relations, and also investigate the consistency properties of collective linguistic preference relations. These results are of vital importance for group decision making with linguistic preference relations. 2007 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

A Consensus Model for Group Decision Making with Incomplete Unbalanced Fuzzy Linguistic Preference Relations

We present a consensus model for group decision making with unbalanced fuzzy linguistic preference relations, i.e., assuming that the preferences are assessed on linguistic term sets whose terms are not symmetrically and uniformly distributed. This consensus model can manage incomplete information situations, that is, situations where the experts do not give all the preference values that they ...

Group decision making with incomplete fuzzy linguistic preference relations

The aim of this paper is to propose a procedure to estimate missing preference values when dealing with incomplete fuzzy linguistic preference relations assessed using a 2–tuple fuzzy linguistic approach. This procedure attempts to estimate the missing information in an individual incomplete fuzzy linguistic preference relation using only the preference values provided by the respective expert....

The group decision making process based on probabilistic linguistic preference relations

Since the concept of linguistic variables was proposed, various kinds of linguistic terms have been used to express decision makers’ preference information in order to solve group decision making (GDM) problems. Probabilistic linguistic term set (PLTS) is a novel extension form of the existing linguistic variables. Based on it, the probabilistic linguistic preference relation (PLPR) has been pr...
